Hi Everyone:
Well, after 14 days in the hospital, the finally word is they aren't really sure what Jim had, but as far as his lungs are going, he's doing better there. Today they gave him a blood test to make sure that his blood is okay. Yesterday his blood count dropped drastically, BUT it didn't drop below where it used to be, so it's good. Today's level is steady, so they are going to let him come home. We will have to keep monitoring the blood to make sure he doesn't have that one rare blood disorder I mentioned previously, but so far so good. Whew. If Jim were a cat, he would be on about the 7th life. But that he's God's child, he has who knows how many chances at life. Now, Lord, about that pain...
He is very weak and I'm probably going to have to push him up the stairs, but he's coming home. Waahoo. He has spent to many birthdays and Christmasses in the hospital. But not this year. And Johnny and Leah and Winston are on their way, too. And of course our new puppy dog. We'll have to make sure he's not too stressed. Okay, um....
