antibiotics

The docs put Jim on another type of antibiotics. This will cover pneumonia, which is good, but I have to get Jim up and walking again, and eating more.

They don't want Jim to get "septic." Whatever that is. That's what could land him in the ICU, and they want to avoid it, of course.

Hi dear friend, I just read your posts for the day and wanted to ask a question. Is the cancer responding to this chemo in a different way than all the other chemo in Pittsburgh? It seems like in the past the cancer responded well during treatment but as soon as the treatment was over the cancer would grow like crazy. Is there any way to tell at this point if it is just the same old story or if this response is better and more hopeful than the other chemo responses have been. it's probably too early to tell.
anyway, I was just curious. I'll go and pray for you both.
love you
Rach

Too early to tell. It sure is hitting his body hard though.
