A bit better, still

Good morning everyone:

Jim is still feeling a bit better. He's taking Ibuprosin and it's helping him. He must have truly strained a muscle or something.

Through all of that, I have noticed that I am having a lot of fear lately. I don't know where the scriptures are that I was memorizing on not having fear, but I better go look for them. I walk around with a "close to vomiting" feeling in my gut, and I know that's not what the Lord would have me do, as he's not givin' me a spirit of fear, but a spirit of....I have to go find my scriptures.

Anyway, that's how Jim is doing...and me.

Yo, Palin did much better than her previous interviews. I thought they both did a great job of completely ignoring the actual questions that they were asked. Biden didn't attack as much as I thought he would and Palin should of jumped on him about his Iraq position but I don't think she knew what it was...anyways I thought it was fairly boring.

FEAR :(
HOPE :)
I offer this to you:
(Gen 15:6) And he (Abraham) had faith in the Lord, and it was put to his account as righteousness.

(Psa 27:13) I had almost given up my hope of seeing the blessing of the Lord in the land of the living. (Psa 27:14) Let your hope be in the Lord: take heart and be strong; yes, let your hope be in the Lord.

(Psa 31:24) Put away fear and let your heart be strong, all you whose hope is in the Lord.

Psa 33:1-22
(1) Be glad in the Lord, O doers of righteousness; for praise is beautiful for the upright.
(2) Give praise to the Lord on the corded instrument; make melody to him with instruments of music.
(3) Make a new song to him; playing expertly with a loud noise.
(4) For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his works are certain.
(5) His delight is in righteousness and wisdom; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
(6) By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the army of heaven by the breath of his mouth.
(7) He makes the waters of the sea come together in a mass; he keeps the deep seas in store-houses.
(8) Let the earth be full of the fear of the Lord; let all the people of the world be in holy fear of him.
(9) For he gave the word, and it was done; by his order it was fixed for ever.
(10) The Lord undoes the designs of the nations; he makes the thoughts of the peoples without effect.
(11) The Lord's purpose is eternal, the designs of his heart go on through all the generations of man.
(12) Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he has taken for his heritage.
(13) The Lord is looking down from heaven; he sees all the sons of men;
(14) From his house he keeps watch on all who are living on the earth;
(15) He makes all their hearts; their works are clear to him.
(16) A king's salvation is not in the power of his army; a strong man does not get free by his great strength.
(17) A horse is a false hope; his great power will not make any man free from danger.
(18) See, the eye of the Lord is on those in whose hearts is the fear of him, on those whose hope is in his mercy;
(19) To keep their souls from death; and to keep them living in time of need.
(20) Our souls are waiting for the Lord; he is our help and our salvation.
(21) For in him our hearts have joy; in his holy name is our hope.
(22) Let your mercy be on us, O Lord, as we are waiting for you.

(Psa 46:1) God is our harbour and our strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psa 46:2) For this cause we will have no fear, even though the earth is changed, and though the mountains are moved in the heart of the sea;

(Psa 86:1) Let your ears be open to my voice, O Lord, and give me an answer; for I am poor and in need.
(Psa 86:2) Keep my soul, for I am true to you; O my God, give salvation to your servant, whose hope is in you.
(Psa 86:3) Have mercy on me, O Lord; for my cry goes up to you all the day.
(Psa 86:4) Make glad the soul of your servant; for it is lifted up to you, O Lord.
(Psa 86:5) You are good, O Lord, and full of forgiveness; your mercy is great to all who make their cry to you.
(Psa 86:6) O Lord, give ear to my prayer; and take note of the sound of my requests.
(Psa 86:7) In the day of my trouble I send up my cry to you; for you will give me an answer.
(Psa 86:8) There is no god like you, O Lord; there are no works like your works.
(Psa 86:9) Let all the nations whom you have made come and give worship to you, O Lord, giving glory to your name.
(Psa 86:10) For you are great, and do great works of wonder; you only are God.
(Psa 86:11) Make your way clear to me, O Lord; I will go on my way in your faith: let my heart be glad in the fear of your name.
(Psa 86:12) I will give you praise, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will give glory to your name for ever.
(Psa 86:13) For your mercy to me is great; you have taken my soul up from the deep places of the underworld.
(Psa 86:14) O God, men of pride have come up against me, and the army of violent men would take my life; they have not put you before them.
(Psa 86:15) But you, O Lord, are a God full of pity and forgiveness, slow to get angry, great in mercy and wisdom.
(Psa 86:16) O be turned to me and have mercy on me: give your strength to your servant, and your salvation to the son of her who is your servant.
(Psa 86:17) Give me a sign for good; so that my haters may see it and be shamed; because you, Lord, have been my help and comfort.

Actually the thing that stuck out the most for me was when Palin said, ...."build the US embassy in Jerusalem." Did you hear that? Interesting. I think Biden didn't attack cause he thought she was kind of cute and feisty...which she was. But my fave comment of the night was still Biden saying, "....quote, I'm paraphrasing."

Also, Biden was more about him, than Obama, I thought. I thought maybe he was running for president. I got bored after a while, too though.

singing for you Sister. Sing with me!
Psalm 121
I lift up my eyes to the hills
for my help, where does my help come?
My help only comes from the maker of heaven,
the maker of the earth.
And He will not let you fall down
your feet will be firm to the ground.
He watches over you, he will not slumber
cause the Lord who watches Israel will not sleep.

Lala la La Laaaala la la lalaaaaa

The LORD watches over you, he is your shade.
The shade at your right hand.
and even the sun will not harm you by day
the moon will not harm you by night.

The LORD watches over your life.
The LORD he will keep you from harm.
He watches over you, He watches over you.
Cause He watches over every step you take.
He watches over you
He watches over you
He watches over every step you take.
Both now and forever both now and forever
both now and forever.....

I Love You Sister and Jimbo Goodnight
